Yellow perch caught through the ice is (IMO) best pan fare in fresh water

Those are some very nice perch

I hear ya guys! I don't fish for them but 3-4 times a year, but when I go, I get my fill of them. You've heard of "Fish & Chips"... once you get the filet off them, you have "Fishchips" great little Hor' de' Vors' for kickin back and haveing a cold one and watching a movie.

got me droolin over those perch. got one pond here with big ones but havent slayed em since i left wis.

We have one lake round here that we can take them in
they are harder than heck to find after the ice goes off till it goes back on
but winter time there is a couple holes where you can go out an get a nice batch

Not the Jumbo's like they catch futher North but respectable an fine fine eatin
