There is also another sweet little FREE program called Ifranview which is
really good for basic imaging, I use it a lot in conjunction with other imaging programs because it is so fast and easy

You can do lot of things with it for a freebie

If you want to download Ifranview an check it out you can get it here:
http://www.irfanview.com/

You can pick it up pretty quick by playing around with the various featuresa

If you have questions bout that or the powertoy you can post here or shoot me a pm

I wish catching flatheads like the one in your profile to use the Ifranview on was so easy I could say I was doing it for years Jack!

There is a new release of Ifranview out there 4.0

IFRANVIEW 4.0 (http://www.irfanview.com/)
This one supports more plugins, and has some nice new features.

As a tip, I have found with this program is better to save the download to your computer, then delete the earlier version before installing this one.

I also do not associate any file types with this program, I just load them up myself manually.

I use Irfanview almost exclusively. I like that it will change file extensions for me. If I need to work with a pick with an unsupported file extension, Irfanview quickly and easily changes it for me to jpeg of bitmap or something I can use.

Irfanview also play well with the rest of your software and programs. I've had no conflicts. It's realitively small so it take up little space on your hard drive. It's one of those things that just works well.

Thanks Tim for putting this up.

I like it a lot too
I have Adobe CS3 along with several other imaging programs of various
types but I probably use infranview more than any of them
