Chicken livers can be sun cured to make them tougher so they stay on the hook better. Fresh liver is great cat bait but its easy to lose your bait just castin it out. I cure chicken livers by cuttin them to the size I want then spred them out on an old cooky sheet and cover them with garlic salt. Then put them in the sun for at least six hours. Be sure to put them up were the dogs can't get to em. I learned that the hard way. :D I buy the cheap garlic salt at the dollor store.

Chris I use circle hooks for cats. I bet that would work good with them too. Great idea.
