Prospect Pond-QC

[Catfishing Matt]

Anyone from around the Quad Cities go fishing at Prospect Pond (Echo Lake)? I have been lately, at least untill the Rock River rises up again where I usually fish. Prospect has a plentiful supply of bluegill, and lots of Largemouth Bass (Not big, but still fun to catch most 5-8 inches long). Also some channel cats in there, though I have no clue how many, I usually fish for bass. Went fishing this evening caught 2 bass in about 1 and a half hours..Got kinda cold though..So then went to Whitey's and got a YUMMY pumpkin shake.:D

Didn't they just restock that pond, and where do you usually fish on the Rock river Matt, I have been going where Harold's club was by the airport bridge.

I fish off of the Blue Milan Bridges, just down the road from City Limits Saloon & Blackhawk TV..You know? There's a small waterfall there.

Matt, may I suggest a day with Schoe come spring out on the water in the WIF boat. You will be able to learn alot in an afternoon fishing with the man.

Prospect Pond is in Moline, IL..It's by the News Channel 8 station, and Mother Hubbard's Cupboard..Umm..Can't think of anything else.

Yeah that'd be fun with Schoe.
