Does anyone know where there is a cheaper place than Cabalas to buy Garcia 7000s or 10,000s level winds? Schoe

Check out E-bay. I have got some good bargains there. Just make sure and check out their "feedback" and the shipping charges before bidding.

I don't really know about levelwinds but in between the end of febuary and april walmart marks all thier reels down to move out the old and bring in the new. From what i've heard its around 40% they knock off. Which will make the 7000 60bucks. Not bad for a 100 dollar reel.

Man if I ever get a chance to buy them for $60.00 I would slop them up real fast. Thanks Schoe

Schoe, I've got a friend that works at one of the stores. Hes gonna let me know when they mark them down and i can't wait! He said they do it everyyear and most of the reels sell out in a couple days.

Rivers, I can believe they won't last too long at the lower prices. I would like to get two of each the 7000s and 10000 in level wind. Let me know if there's going to be any extras.

The Walleyworld here don't stock either one, and all they carry is the 5 and 6 thousand series.

I see on the BOC board that there is a controversy over the advertisements for the BG10000ct not being a level wind. And there is a big time span in the turn around to get the right one. I guess there is a glitch in the advertising.

We are going to Henderson probably next Thurs for the Fall Gathering and you might as well join us. Thanks for the info. Schoe

Schoe,

They have the 7000's at Wallyworld on W Kimberly in Davenport listed @ $99. I found a 10000 from a guy in England on E-Bay. The price starts at $1.75(US) has 8 days left from today.(Please don't try to out bid me!!!) The shipping is like $21 from over seas, but if I can get the reel for $40-60, it's worth it.

Thanks Tspergin, I just ordered one on line from Walley world. It came to $101.00 something including tax and shipping. Thats still a lot better than Cabalas. I lucked out and bought a brand new one Ky. for $40.00 .(it's a long story) So now I have 2 of the 7000s for $140.00, thats not too bad at all.

Two Rivers I still want to purchase a pair of 10000s when they get marked down. Please let me know. Thanks again guys, Schoe
