whats up desperado? I havent talked to you lately. hey man i will be in springfield starting nov 6 and will be there for six days so get a hold of me maybe we can hit cj brown res and do some fishing

Fellas, I was glad to hear of someone else that has fished Brown Reservoir. I lived a short way from there for 13 years while working at the IH Truck plant
in Springfield.

I couldn't begin to you of the countless hrs. I have enjoyed fishing for the cats in that lake. I never ran into any other cat fishermen on the lake in all the years that I was there. They were mostly Walleye and Bass fisherman who occasionally caught a cat while doing their thing.

Out of the hundreds of cats I caught I never caught any Flatheads. I have heard of some coming out of there but never saw any. Has anyone else? Schoe

i have onlly fished there twice no flatties but did catch some channels the only reason i am fishing the lake is that i am working like nine mile away and there is nothing i would rather do after work than fish it sure beats sitting around the hotel waiting to go to work the next day

Brian, I totally forgot about fishing at CJ"s. I went to Cablea's and didn't get home til late. Sorry about that. I'll get back to you on a trip.
