Scouting for carp Invitational

This coming Saturday the 11th of Nov. The state chairman of the carp angers group and I be fishing at Hampton Dam. And anyone who wants to come are welcome to do so. We need your input and ideas for the upcoming Quad City Carp Invitational for next year. We are considering two divisions for the contest one for boat fishing and one for shore fishing.
And one of the sponsors are giving discounted memberships for the Carp Anglers Group this Saturday and next year also. Let me know or just show up.

Tim, the CAG is country wide and even the world, each state has a chairman, if there are members in that state who will take on the job.
Iowa has around 8 or 10 members that I know of but no state chair that I know of. Here is the web site of the CAG

I think the IL. state chair and I are going to Dis Moines in Feb. 1 or Mar. 1 to put on a carp fishing demonstration at the central Iowa Anglers club meeting at Scheel's sporting goods store.

Definitly let me know when, I don't know of there is more than one Scheels
in DM (was thinking Ankeny for some reason?) but if you can get store local
post it too

Update, on Hampton Dam well as it turned out the state chair wanted to look at all the possible spots to hold the Quad City's Invitational next year.
So we left Hampton Dam around 8:30 so to all those who came out to Hampton Dam.
It was my fault I thought he wanted to fish the day and then go look at the spots, But that was not the case.

I just got word from the state chair that the offer for veterans $1.oo membership in the CAG for those is still good because we left Hampton early.
Just give me your information and I will give it to him for the discount Membership to the CAG.
