day started off real good......if ya like havin soupys luck.hooked a big buffalo on a jig and ended up pullin my anchor into a crevace in some big riprap and lost it.buffalo weighed almost 40 lbs though.other than gettin over an inch of rain while i was fishin (an 30 mph winds) it was a great day.got a double limit of sauger and 1 of whites.biggest saugers just under 4lbs and lost another the same size tryin to net it.got home while it was still light out so heres some pics..........maybe not

Joe thats a fine bunch of fish you got there,good pictures,as for the
anchor,well that happens now an then to every one.I know the rig that
Soupy is talkin about to save an anchor,it was shown to me by ole
Stump Bumper,for using on the apalachacola river and it works about
95% of the time,the last one i lost was on Lake Barkley,it had slipped
under an old rail road track and it would not come out,now you can make
some out of rebar that is supposed to bend and come out,but i havent
made any.Kirk

werent no way to save this one guys,slipped down a crevasse tween big concrete boulders.its only bout 2 feet under,or was river came up 3 ft overnight.ill get it back when it gets low again.gonna get some 3 inch black pipe an make me one for the river. tdawgnok yep we got a dang limit.caught a bunch more than i kept yesterday but whats in the pics bout all i want to clean anyway.the biggest ones gettin up there to "pig" size ...so the big uns are startin to move up.cant wait till the big stripers git up there

gofish:..........Right now I'd settle for catchin' some of them small fish you got there.... I ain't caught nuttin' to brag about in two weeks now... I did catch that one 15# last week but, that's just enuff to get me started.... I ain't caught nuttin' since.:rolleyes:

snuck out for a couple hours today an got nuttin but froze from runnin the river cept a 15 lb buffalo.rivers crestin an goin back down now.took my buddys boat an got a look at what it would be like runnin it at flood stage.my boatll handle it so look out now
