hard to believe that all we used to fish for at medard was ba$$, thats back when I was a kid fishing with my dad, he did catch one channel while trolling though, using a broken back rapala, man the memories :D

HEY ALAN
I have only been on TURKEY CREEK LAKE 3 times,that was for catfish,with
STUMP BUMPER,and in looking the lake over,and the varied tye of cover
it should still be a very good BASS LAKE, im going to find out this spring,it is one of the best looking lakes that i have been on since moving here, it
reminds me of FOX LAKE in northern INDIANA.LAKE TARPON is supposed to
be a good BASS LAKE and we have been on it several times just rideing
around looking at the bottom,and checking depth and cover and,also read
the reports of the BASS tournament held there, the reports dont look all
that good to me.I would rather drive an hour to TURKEY CREEK,than drive
15min to LAKE TARPON.After the TURKEY CREEK CATFISH RODEO,some of
us are going to get together for some BASS fishing,are you up for it?:)

Hi Kirk about the only bass fishing I do now is at my uncles place and havent done that in quite awhile now, long story kept short... I was in Michigan all of last winter, and since getting back last spring I have had several health problems including 2 emergency operations.
I'm just now getting back into fishing and doing most of that from the bank, the jon boat I have is small (12 foot) and right now I'm having to use a paddle to get around in it, but if anyone has a spot on a larger boat when ya'll go for those bass I may be interested, unless I get a job and am having to work.
