I am new to this board and would like to introduce myself. I live in east central Illiniois and spend 95 per cent of my time on the water fishing for catfish or crappie. The other 5 per cent I am fishing for walleye or bluegill. My favorite catfishing method is running bankpoles in small rivers in the area. My home lake is Lake Shelbyville, an 11,000 acre body of water located here in east central Illinois. I have been retired for 12 years and enjoying every minute of it. When I am not fishing you will find me squirrel, turkey, dove, and quail hunting.
