Tim, nice to hear from you again everyone else too of course.
Don't have much to report on Milford Lake fishing. Haven't been out in December yet. The lake is down 6.5 feet and falling, I think the only ramp open is in the state park, which I won't use, due to their fees. It's been too windy to go out anyway. If we didn't have to sit facing the wind, the temp wouldn't bother us either for shore fishing. It's supposed to be fairly decent tomorrow, that'll be my first day fishing in December.
My new profile pic is a 30lb Blue I caught from the shore in August. (If I remember how to do it!) LOL.

Tim, yeah, that's a "fun" place to fish. We had to put down a 20" ladder to get down to the water, we let down all our gear (rod holders, bait, etc.) on a line, then haul it back up again. Here's a couple of pics of the area. We would fish from the top of the "cliff" when the water was up to the base of the cliff, then when they dropped the lake level we'd climb down and fish there. This is where I caught the one in my profile pic. Great place to fish, just not to often for an old crippled duffer like me:rolleyes:
Didn't make it out today after all, had to take the Frau to town. I'll be out there for sure tomorrow and Thursday for sure though, supposed to be in the sixty's. The lake is really bad right now, over 6.5' below normal, gonna try to make lemonade out'a lemons!

Dang it, made the pics too small! I had the profile pics requirements in mind. If you can't make them out, let me know, and I'll redo them tomorrow, they really are some nice pics. OR, if you can make them bigger and better, please do, thanks.

What a great looking spot!
I can't get them much bigger when you size pictures up they lose all quality real quick but can see the potential in the place
Love the ladder for access deal, not many make that kinda effort to get to shore fishing spots I bet it is a real honey hole
Like my grandpa always told me big fish don't get that way by being where fishermen are
Getting great shore fishing is often about going that extra mile to get to a spot that other people wouldn't go to
Tim
