Avitar help

I want to change my avitar. When I right click on an image stored in the computer, will sizing it to "small" bring it down small enough for an avitar?? Mike:confused:

Needs to be like 150x150 Mike, not sure how "small" small will take it,
believe though when you put it up there is option as part of putting up avatar that asks you if you want to size it to fit when you put it up

Best bet is to probably select "custom" on that power toy an size it to 150x150 or less

Shucks, There goes my chance to have the background filled with the Giller's personal fishing team. Won't make any difference though. The size won't come down enough.
Someone needs to come up with a method to change an avitar. Straight line directions -None of this "if you have this" or "if you have that" Just a " DO THIS DUMMY " type of thing. Mike

The image I tried to put as my avitar was 150X113 and still exceeded the allowable limit.

The best way is to email it to tim.LOL that's what i do when i need a little picture....... I know i prolly overload tim but i have tried to change the size of my pic but it never works out for me.

Soupy and many others would call that gill BAIT. :rolleyes: I don't get many pictures of myself because I'm usually holding the camera. Just as well, I'm not much to work with for a decent picture. ;) Mike

OK, feeling stupid here, Ive done avatars before and just cant seem to get mine small enough for here. Ive edited my pic so small to the point I cant even see them any more.. help? please?? :mad:

I have Irfanview as a photo editor. I've resized, changed the file extension to jpeg and the file photo for my avatar still fails to upload. Is there a minimum number of posts before we are allowed to have a custom avatar?
