finally paid to fish

well i went out today and set me two poles in twenty foot of water and another in just eight foot near a warm water release from the leavenworth sewer treatment facility #2 hoping to catch a few channel cats or a sturgeon or two, i got my first bite at 6 this morning and reeled in a 7 pound drum carp, i pulled in four more and a nice shovelnose sturgeon that was tagged, i took down the tag info and released her, and went towards home around 930 am. i called the missouri department of conservation with the tag info and im gettin fifty bucks for calling em. its awesome im finnaly gettin paid to fish. if i ever get this darned camera contraption to work on my computer ill post pics of the sturgeon and her tag...........

SWEEET!!! What is the temperature down there in Kansas?? In Clinton it 33* degrees right now.....i did mange to go out to my uncle's farm pod for a few hours Saturday before it got to windy!! This is one of the smaller bass u've caught out there but i decided to snap the picture anyway!! Sorry for taking over your thread swampman and once again CONGRATS!!

its was up to 48 today not too bad, its been staying around 38 and higher, its gonna snow soon i feel it in my broken ribs, then itll be easier to get them perch. ive been staying around farm ponds and creeks and ive caught a few big perch and a lot of bluegill and crappie........

I need to come up to your part of the country.... Hell, we caught a Spoonbill catfish with two tags and a microchip in it and all I got was a "Hat Pin" from KY F&W dept.:p ...Good job Swamp...

well theres a big reward for bluecats that they tagged that weigh over 50 pounds.... so come get em ill help ya find em....

lol, there in here they tagged em up at stlouis last year blue cats over 40 pounds, they want to see how many get caught by non commercial fisherman and how far they go 150$ for a tagged blue cat
