carp baits?

I'm sorta new to carp fishing...just wanted to know of the good baits, I know bread is one, and so is dough balls...But how do you make dough balls? any other good crap baits?:confused:

I can't help you much but I also would like to know how to make dough balls. I've heard on here and other sites about chumming with canned sweet corn from the grocery and using that on a hook.
