Well ,I finally bit the bullet and got a new ice fishing shelter.:cool: I had been pondering a long time about getting a flip over style, but decided to stay with a Shappell. I got the DX 3000 this time. It is fabric and I'll move the accessory skis over from my old Shappell.
For those of you that have the Shappell 3000s , there is a ski accessory package available for around $25 that makes them soooooo much easier to pull. I didn't have any issues with the old one till I got on 2 or 3 in. of wet snow on ice. It would pile up in front of the shelter when pulling. :confused: It's sort of like pulling an anchor then. lol
