My 3rd bass fishin' tournament

Ok well I guess I will miss my 3rd tournament. I am going to put on the Catfish Rodeo that day. Me and my partner did pre-fish lake tarpon. We had a great day. A really great day. It was blue bird right after a small front and some off the bass are comin' off the beds and are HUNGRY. We still saw a few bedding fish, but I'm sure they saw us as well. I had what looked like a 12 lb'er come up after my 4" craw worm. I'm glad I didn't hook her (did I say that) she will be fresh for Bill to nail. It should be a good tourney and I hate to miss it. I'll let Ya'll know how Bill does next week.

We headed north to a cove next to some nice docks. We went west from there until the docks ended. We shot over to the east side, but the wind was too bad. I did lose a really nice one over there. We then went south for a short time, but again the wind started kicking. I really like that lake and I know I will be back.

Well, I talked to my bass fishin' partner (Bill), after I got done with the catfish rodeo. He came in 7th place. Wooohooo! I am so happy about that. He told me that the pre-fishin' was the best decision we have made so far. He told me he caught two 4+lbs. bass on a Yo-Zuri walker off the docks that we fished last weekend. He also told me that we are going to start pre-fishin' Lake Harris next weekend. No rest for the wicked.
