WIF member Stephen Buss arrived last night in Memphis from London, England. After a good nights sleep, we went to fish the Mississippi River, his first fishing in the US.
We met up with Matt Bingham at McKellar Lake and set off for the "Big Muddy". Stephen landed a 36 lb and a 6 lb blue for his first US fish.

Pics say it all! Great Job Stephen

AW RIGHT STEPHEN! That is the way to get the fishing started off

Tee got you hooked up right when you went out with "Big River"
Looking forward to lots of pics

I don't have blues up in the water I fish, so have never caught one, but
have heard that they will definitely run like a freight train

Not a 200lb Wels, but gotta be a great experience for you down at the fling
at the end of the month

Tim

Yep Im hooked on the Blue, that 1st one was a real treat, If ever any of you get to meet Mr Bingham then you are in for a treat, a truley smashing guy who knows a fishy spot or two on your big muddy.

I cant imagine catching one at 100lb+.

I was also lucky enought to catch a flathead and a channel cat during my stay, I was fortunate enough to leave with that taste of wanting more, who knows we may pass on the river some time?

Tightest lines to you
