Hampton Dam (Lock and Dam 14?)

I've heard there's good Bass fishing there, is this true? What about Walleyes? When is walleye season?:confused:

Matt, Good ol Hampton Dam was, and still is a great place to fish for Saugers, (Walleyes close cousin) Years ago my friends and I would catch limits more than not from the bank off the very end just before the rollers. The last time I was there a brown hair 1/4 oz. plain jig did the job.

The season should be well under way and perhaps continue into April.

I personally haven't done any Bass fishing there but I am sure they are around. Schoe
