more flyin fish!

went to the hot ditch tryin to git some bait today.used my trollin motor on the way up but fired up the outboard when i left.had to have been thousands of these things in there an i didnt know it. all i could do was duck an pray.like runnin a gauntlet.flyin fish everywhere,just a guess but ill bet there were 50 or more airborne at the same time in one spot.these are the ones that jumped in an didnt make it back out.cant throw em back or ya git in trouble so theyre gonna be fertilizer for the garden now

wish id had the camera,still cant get over how many were in the air at once.those in the pics dont include how many i kicked an pushed out the boat or bounced in an out. gonna call the dnr an see if they cant shock the ditch or sumpthin cause when i cut em up found out theyre up there spawnin.git rid of a bunch that way maybe.while back talked to a gentleman in peoria that owns a bait shop.he used to net shad there in the illinois for his shop but said the carp compete so bad with the shad for food its hard to git any now.also said the electric barrier at lake michigan didnt work an theyre in it now.wonder how bad its gonna hurt the native fishes here when its all said an done?

called the dnr biologist bout em in indy.said even though there were so many in there they wouldnt do nuttin bout em.did find out i aint gotta remove em from the water no more ,jus cant put em back alive.gut em an sink em from now on

Done started down here.... Three guys got caught a few weeks ago doing that.....Just told them to stop it...
Said they got about 40 before the Game Warden got there....
Two guys would stand on the back of the boat and one would run the boat....Those carp would jump over your wake after you went by ifin' you went real slow.
