HEY RAY & MOHAWK
we had a great time up there,spent the first night with the SHADOW
and his wife CHARLOTTE,great folks and man you should have been to
supper with us,some of the biggest crappie fillets i ever seen,along with
her special hush puppys and all the fixens,we ate till we about poped a
button,and you should see where they live on the lake,beautiful home
with a covered boat dock,a bit out of my price range,we did look at the
place he had to sell but it just wasant quite big enough for us and company,
we now have a real estate man that also owns a bait shop by lake barkley
working with us,we have picked 4 places to choose from,and all have
ground with them,1 has a home and 3 building lots 1 has home and 3 acres
that could be cleared,as soon as we can get this home sold we will be
doing some serious dealing,and get gone,with DON & MAURICE in the
pan handle,you in arkansas,me in kentucky,and SCHOE in illinois,our
members will have a big choice of places to visit and fish,while we were
there we only fished 1 morning,over the top of an old railroad that runs
under the lake,i pulled in there and we dropped anchor,and SUE had a 10 lb
blue before i could get ready to fish,we caught 4 all about the same size,
in about 2 hours,we had to quit to go looking at some places,when we
were pulling anchors up,her anchor had got 1 leg under the railroad and
there was no way in hell to get it loose,so out comes the knife,well worth
it to see the smile on her face when i took her picture with her blue cat.:D

you got that right,there are some monsters that live in both of those
lakes,aint nothing like setting out there at night and hear the drag screaming
we pulled upon a proven hole the morning that we got to go and the wife
had both of her rods baited when we dropped anchor,and before i had time
to start she had what was to be a 10 lb blue,while she was playing that one
her other reel started screaming and she reached with one hand set the
hook looked at me and said can you get this one???and i didnt even have
a bait in the water yet,this is why i brag on her a lot she can get the
job done she has made us a few $$$ by hanging in there in a tournament
catching that last fish needed to get us a payday:D
