Well, looks like most people are all over in these threads. I figure, if we can just list all of our big fish. Personally, I don't really have any REALLY big fish or trophy fish, other than bluegill. Here is my catch list although, it doesn't cover the last few years (but I don't think I have broken these numbers):

Largemouth Bass: 19" & 17"
Smallmouth bass: 14"
Bluegill: 1lb, 13.5 ounce, several fish that were over 10 ounces and 10"
Crappie: 12.5"
Bullhead: 10.5" (but I think I caught a larger fish last year)
Channel: 22"
Flathead: 16"
Walleye: 10"
Carp: 32" 15.4 lb and several 34" +15lb
Green Sunfish: 7"

Like I say, nothing to really brag about from me.
However, I would like to see some other peoples list for comparison:
Please be honest, even if it BRUTAL! I mean look at my tiny "Big Fish"

Thank you, It's mostly just because of my dad. He taught me everything I know. And I still learn something new from him almost every fishing trip.

Take it easy, Zakk:cool:

Capt. Kirk, your right. Sorry to hear about your sons hand but I'm very glad that there was still a way for him to fish. I have always had a extreme fear of injuring myself in a way where I would not be able to fish. Your right....where there's a will theres a way.

Zakk:)

A couple of Catfish and Wipers I've caught, tagged and released on Milford Lake, Ks
28. 2lb Bluecat (biggest & profile)
15 to 20's 17 Blues and Channels
14.12 lb Wiper
12 lb Wiper
10+lb Wipers, multiple
Quite a few 8 and 10lb Blues and Channels every year.
I've been fishing Milford Lake for 16 years now, We live on the West shore, 5 minutes from the boat ramp. All Cats over 10# are tagged and released.
I'll post some pics of the bigger Cats and Wipers, it'll take awhile to resize them.

What's a wiper?

Catfish Fever

Most of the Wipers I catch are incidental, while drifting for Catfish. I've caught them on every bait I've used for Catfish, cut shad/goldeye, live shad, even cut Carp. My big Wiper I mentioned was caught on a piece of cut goldeye, drifting across the old riverbed, drifting the bottom, in 50 ft of water, thought I had a big Bluecat on. She(?) was 28"X20".
The Milford Lake fish hatchery mixes the roe from female Striper's and milt from male Whitebass, the result is a "Wiper". They are generally believed to be sterile, they grow much faster than either parent species, and very much bigger than Whitebass. I believe the state record is 22lbs, the lake record something like 20+ lbs.

Well swampman, thats a pretty impressive catch for a lad of your age. You must have grown up fishing knowing what you know about the sport. I think that's why Soupy a while back made the comment wanting to know how old you were because of the experienced sounding posts you made.

Keep up the good work as we appreciate all contributions to the site. Schoe
