Hello Out there:
Somehow, I just can't get over all the people on this site, who don't know anything about automatic fish feeders? Surly, someone has seen-knows about them? {Maybe not} Anyway..any information you can send this way sure would help a lot. I'm still going to buy one and give it a serious try. I've heard some good things about them and might have to tell you folks about them come summer time. It might be just the information a lot of us can use?

Hey Daryl, whats the B.S.? You got a bachelors in science degree, or do you just think it is b***s*** that people are not responding to your "fish feeder" posts? Perhaps they just don't know or don't care! Besides most people don't use them because they don't really help, but might hurt your pond! Anyway, you already asked the question once:
http://www.whereifish.com/thepond/showthread.php?t=127
I don't know what you really want. Are you looking for opinions about them, because I already game my two cents. (By the way this was your original question.)
Or
Are you looking for information on where to buy one, because you could have easily been able to just search and find all kinds of them on the net in less time then it takes to write your thread. Anyway, if your question is "where can I buy one?" and you can't do your own search then here you go, this search took me about 3 seconds:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=Automatic+Fish+Feeder+Pond&btnG=Search
Also, Bass Pro Shops, 2006 Anglers catalogue, pg. 246, item H, Lifetime Elite Fish Feeder (keeps the feed from clogging, feeds upto 6 times a day with 1 to 30 second run times, holds 150 lbs. of feed, 12 V motor, 10 AA batteries, 6 months run time) for $179.99
By the way, if you get a battery operated one you best use Lithium batteries (because Alkaline batteries have water in them, and Lithium have a lower freezing point) if you are going to leave it outside during winter and not store it indoors.
Plus, like Capt. Kirk and I said - you could probably use a deer feeder too.
I hope this helps your B.S. problem!

I sure din't mean to cause any type of problems with this post. If I did, I'm sorry. The B.S. simply was meant as "talk". "guess, I'd better just stay off.

Darryl, I didn't see anything wrong with your post. I don't know the first thing about feeders. Any info you want to share or opinions you have are fine by me. There will be times when everyone or no one agrees with you. If everyone had the same thoughts, it wouldn't be much of a discussion would it. Welcome to the site and keep posting!

Darryl, welcome to the site and hang in there! When feathers get ruffeled around here just take it with a grain of salt. These are good guy's that would give you their last hook to help you out. The only thing I know about fish feeder's is that if I see one at a lake or pound that's where I'm going to fish and hope that I happen to be there when it goes off....LOL....Ray

I had planned a trip through Neb., so went to a Neb. outdoors site to ask about wetting a line there for some panfish.
Daryl was more than helpfull, as were some others. He is highly respected there and I hope he stays around here.
Posts can be easily missunderstood by either party.
I done some checking about the feeders for a friend once. Has been a while. For one, they need to be set properly. When set up properly they can produce 1/2 lb. gills in a year on a new pond. By then the pond should be able to sustain it's self. It was noted that there is no gain to overfeeding. What I found interesting is that you can feed an area like off the end of a dock and fish will quickly learn to stay there and actually get larger than the rest. ??? I think it would be a neat , but possibly pricy, experiment.
Could turn out like the time I decided to train the local squirles to eat nuts from my shirt pocket. Took a while , but they trained ME to buy many sacks of nuts for them. :D Mike

This is a newer site and unfortunately doesnt have the member base yet that some of the others do.Give it time and the site will grow.Unfortunately it also means that we dont quite yet have the base of information that other sites do and dont have all the answers. But,some help can still happen.Hope its not to late to keep you on the site and just remember even though we are small now we will grow and that every world record fish started out as something that would have been culled if it hadnt had the chance to grow.

Darryl:
I logged into this Board today and the first thing I see is you are giving everyone a Bad Time. LOL What a Guy. I think those fish feeders would work if a person had a dock somewhere to mount one. If a guy don't have a personal dock, where ever you put it would just get it stolen probably.
My 2 Cents:
