Can any one tell me a little about Magnolia Lodge and Campground? We tried to call but no answer.
We want to go for the Tournament in Aug.

Magnolia Lodge is no longer open from what I hear. Thanks For the input. Maurice has told us about a camp ground in WeWa.
We hope to go over on the 17th and take a look see.
Hope to fish the Aug and Oct. Tournys.

I plan on fishing both of those also. The Dead Lakes Campgrounds are nice with brand new facilities. Plenty of campsites with water & electric hook-ups and two ponds were you can catch bait for the tournament in a pinch....Ray

yep, I dont believe magnolia lodge still open, there is a state park near, they may not allow overnight stays, i can find out if you need, I have stayed at a place called The Sign Of The Shiner several years back thats very near there. This area is not on the main river, its on the chipola, above the old dam in the dead lakes, West Arm Creek is the the approx area.
