Here at WIF we do have some International flavor
One of our Members, Stephen Buss, (PiOFi) is recognized as one of the
very best fishing guides in Europe, and I dare say that he is perhaps the
number one Wels Catfish Guide in the World

Stephen's Clients hold World and European Country Records for Wels Catfish, and it is due in major part to his coming up with some incredible new Rigging and bait techniques

He is still out guiding and has not got the 2006 fishing report together yet
but here are some statistics from 2005 that are just amazing !

WELS Cat Fishing Jul to Late Oct 2005
235 catfish weighed
149 over 100lb
72 over 150lb
38 over 175lb
2 over 200lb
Total weight 31,473lbThat would be almost 16 Tons of Catfish CAUGHT ON THE RIVERBANK over
a 4 Month period!

2006 WAS EVEN BETTER!
You can check out some amazing photos on his website by CLICKING HERE (http://carpandcatbussters.com)

Right now his focus is on Carp, and as you can see from the pictures
below he is SUCCESSFUL! Would be kinda like setting hook in a volkswagon
beetle from the looks of those Fish:D

Tim,
Once people get over the negative opinion of caro fishing, They will find out how much fun it is.
I don't know if I will make the spring fling or not, But I want to as you know I am into carp fishing big time.

Those things look like they would be a lot of fun to run into. Carp may be one of the funnest to fight. They can be 6 inches long and you think that you have a whale.
