lost my "BASS"

WELL I WENT TODAY TO TRY OUT MY NEWLY ACQUIRED POND JUMPER,ME AND A FRIEND OF MINE WENT TO THE ALAFIA STATE PARK AND CAMPGROUNDS TO THROW A FEW LURES FOR SOME BASS.WE WERE THERE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND THE ONLY EXCITEMENT WE HAD WAS WHEN THIS 3 1/2 FOOT GATOR DECIDED THAT HE WANTED TO JOIN US IN THE BOAT,WELL THAT WASN'T GONNA HAPPEN SO I POPPED HIM ON THE NOSE WITH MY ROD AND SENT HIM ON THE WAY. ANYWAYS ABOUT A HALF HOUR LATER I FINALY GOT MY FIRST HIT AND HOOKED UP WITH A BIGGUN ABOUT 8 OR 9 POUNDS HE HIT MY JUNE BUG COLORED BASS ASSASIN WORM LIKE A MACK TRUCK,WELL I FOUGHT HIM FOR A FEW MINUTES UNTIL THE DAGGUM WORM HOOK FLEW RIGHT OUTTA HIS (OR HERS) MOUTH....WELL AT LEAST I GOTTA TO IT. IF I HAD LANDED IT, IT WOULDA BEEN MY BIGGEST BASS EVER CAUGHT.... :rolleye0018:

Around here a 8 or 9 lb. bass would be rare.In my case it would be a figment of my wild imagination :sad0025: Sounds like a neat day.
I'm thinking I would tap that gator w/ the business end of a 12 guage. :scared0011:
