Well troutrageous, I guess one of the ways we will get some more Pa. members is for you to help us out and keep on posting about your fishing in your area.

I do want to personally thank you for joining up and look forward to hearing from you. Schoe

Hey FishinDad, about time I got somebody else from PA to chat with! I'm from Limerick, about 45min to an hour away. I've been trying to get some of my fishing buddies to sign up for months now to no avail. You'll like it here. Most of these folks are from the Quad Cities area, but they all know tons about fishing and the jokes & stories are classic!

Thanks for the welcome Mike! Where is Limerick? That is over Philly way, right?

Yes, about 45 minutes northwest of Philly. Near Pottstown if that helps with the bearings.

Another PA member here. I live the hills in Bradford county. :party0045:

We have lots of small lakes and ponds here, miles and miles of trout streams (many with native populations), a few larger lakes nearby and lots of fish in most of them.

Here are a few video links to some of the fish I have caught in the last month or so....ones where I remembered I had a camera anyway!:icon_biggrin:

Here are a few pics I got a few nights ago at the spillway of the Tioga dam in Tioga, PA. We caught some walleye, pike and perch that evening and night....even one brown trout. Thought I'd share.

PS: I only ate the walleye and trout in that one pic. I soaked them with lemon pepper and olive oil then put them on the grill. Delicious.

Sir, thank you for the post, photos , and videos, it is appreciated.

The countryside there is really something and it looks like you have some fine waters to fish in.

Thanks again, Schoe

I'll be sure to keep on posting when I get some good stuff. I have a roll of 35mm to use the last few exposures on....and when they're developed they're getting scanned! :icon_biggrin:

I forgot to add that the brown trout in the pic above has a wound visible in the pic. IT WAS ATTACKED WHILE I WAS REELING IT IN!:confused0018: I didn't see the attacker, but assume it was a musky. Too bad the bigger fish didn't get a point or two of that Eppinger's treble that the trout had hanging out of it's mouth.:icon_mad:

Yes Ive been tying off and on for awhile. The last year or so I've been into it pretty heavy.I read about CrappieKeith and T.H.E Jig(they are awesome) and got into tying alot of calf tail jigs like his. Ihaven't messed with marabou much tho.I also tie some wooly worm type flies and sponge spiders for gills.
