Well darn, I was looking in one of my freezers and found about an 8 Lb. block of Flathead chunks that need to be used up before I keep any more so, for lunch I will be fixing them for those attending tomorrow about noon. Along with the nuggets I will bring bread and butter. Schoe

Scjoe, I told Sam about the smoked catfish last time and he kicked himself for mussing out so I think he will enjoy the lunch this time. Thanks for the lunch.

Although the threat of rain may have detoured some fellas from attending the CAG social get together yesterday there were a few that made it. Planning for the up and coming CAG invitational next weekend was the main agenda and with that out of the way Jim, Howard, and Sam got down to some serious fishing.

Jim had his European set up and demonstrated that style of fishing, and catching. He caught quite a few big Carp and had a blast doing it. Just watching him work on those Bulldoziers getting them in was exciting to watch.

Giller couldn't stand looking at a couple of prime Bluegill spots and soon had his "light" rod out with only a few minutes going by with our catching a nice fat river Gill.

All in all we had an enjoyable day and the details were worked out for next weekend at the Ben Butterworth Parkway.
Anyone that is interested in seeing the technics and equipment these fellas use please come down Sat. the 10th and see us.

Here's a few pics of our day. Schoe

Looks like a great day, and that set up of Jim's is something to see,
I watched a leaf blow on it at the Rock River Gathering last year an
set it off

Big carp are a lot of fun to catch
