I miss fishing

I don't know about you guys, but since its been so cold here, I haven't been able to go out fishing at all in months. I really miss it alot ! Especially since my dad's "snow-birding" it in Florida until April, I will have to watch alot of ESPN!

Well normally I would be very empathetic to your unfortunate state of "no fishing"...........BUT since I am going to be fishing with Schoe the first of March........... I'll just say "goodie goodie haha"............

Don't worry, I'll return your fishing partner when the "spring thaw" comes....and send pictures untill then.

You could always take a road trip to florida to get a little fishin in with Schoe on weekend. Road Trippin itself is awesome throw fishin in with it and wallah mini vacation.

After being without bait for so long we made a three hour trip to dardanelle ark to catch some skips. It payed off bigtime!! We caught a little over 100 skips and would of caught more if it weren't for the triple strikes which was breakin our line. Just in time for the bait!!!!

Annie - spring break is comming!!!!!!!!

Three rivers! How did you do?

Screen, work called and cut me out of the loop! There was some gooood fish caught that weekend and the whole time i felt like i was about to jump out of my skin! I was dying to get out there. We went out the next week and ended up catching a couple. None of any great size but its stilla catchin! After getting a feel for summer patterning this winter fishing is totally different. Theres only one way to learn though and the sooner the better. I can't wait to see whats in store for fishing 2006!

This last tuesday after getting caught up from working all weekend i hooked up to the boat. Tuesday was beautiful so wednesday we were gonna head out and try our luck. Walked outside wednesday morning and the wind was howling. If any of you guys ever been on the big river when the winds up you know the swells are 4 to 5 feet high and it makes moving tough! That afternoon the wind just quit. Go figure. Decided on thursday since the afternoon was so nice. Thursday was worse!!!!!!! This mornin i finally uncoupled from the boat. It was bone chillin outside. Talk about disgusted. First pretty day that opens itself we'll see how hungry those blues are!! I'm learning that to fish during the winter you have to take everyday you can because tomorrow can be a whole different ball game!

I'll be in Florida the end of march, but its because I'm in a wedding there :( Won't have much time to fish..
