Rod questions

Welcome aboard!!!!!

1 quick question, when using your rod selector tool, it doesn't show blue catfish, or flatheads, only channels. Which F- Series, Casting rod would you suggest for someone who is targeting blues and flatheads?

P series would be RPC-701-H P

Here is what I would suggest on something like this, go look through species and take the one that would be closest match for what you are looking to use the rod for

In this case, figuring big blues in current, I took the fishing downrigger style for Salmon, you are talking a very SERIOUS rod for this type of fishing

Would definitely stand up to any Blue cat, and should handle flathead
though as you well know,when you are talking a flat over a certain
size given the cover they like to live in that a jeep winch might be the only method to get them out :icon_biggrin:

But for sure that Heavy F series should work for big powerful fish, the rod has to have some serious backbone for to stand up to salmon on deep downriggers

soup them herrin pieces that big???? i know their aint that big o catfishes in them ditchs u were fishin from not to long ago!!!!
