Now I don't want to give the impression that I don't like cats, but you'll have to admit... sometimes when you surprise 'em... they can get real silly... real quick!

They don't like surprises for a fact!
We got a cat who humors himself by sitting up high on things an jumping down at the other cats when they walk by
OR if one of them is lying down sleeping, he will sneak up an just reach up a paw an poke at them
If you have never seen a cat laugh you have to see it, cuz when the other cats go flying off trailing hair an hissing, Petey sits there laughin at them

It's really pretty amazing just how different their personalities can be. I've most always been around cats. Always had one when I was little, then when we moved to a farm, there were cats everywhere. Calico's, Tabby's and just plain old cats. Some I think would 'mother' the world, some wanted all the attention themselves, some were very independant and some were mean.

Most were good mousers, but they didn't usually stop there... baby rabbits, chipmonks and birds didn't stand a chance. I remember some by name Patches, Sunday, Emmy... one I remember by action. He was a large yellow tom cat that just showed up. He had a bad attitude and we really didn't need another cat..... soooooooooooooo.... one day, early on, I buttered him up with a piece of bacon an' dad put a closepin on his tail. I know you have all heard of that.... it works :evilgrin0039:

best cat i ever had was part bobcat,dang thing got huge!used ta love fightin coons,ex wife got him in the divorce....funny thing was ....the cat never took ta her much,he was all mine lol.....shes still complainin bout him lol

Ya know... I've noticed that about cats and dogs. They seem to like who they like. I like their honesty. Now I do think they are capable of lieing. I've seen 'em mess up bad... and then hide or act so innocent that it's obvious that they are trying to hide the fact that they did it.

But pets are good. Cats, dogs, horses or hamsters, we are all social animals to an extent. Heck I could talk to a guinea pig if I really needed to.

All I got to say 'bout cats is.... "Fit 'em" ( with aluminum foil booties) and then git ya a bag of popcorn then sit back and watch...
