This was a very sad and tragic story around here. A young boy and his mother in an SUV were pushed by a drunk driver from behind into the path of an oncoming train. Kevin, the boy in the story was killed, his mother in a coma for 3 weeks. Because of his love of fishing, the family asked in lieu of flowers that fishing poles be donated. His casket was surrounded by fishing poles to go to children who would other wise not be able to fish.
This is a very sad situation, but with a positive result, if you can look at it that way.Its just too bad Kevin isnt here to share his love of fishing with other kids and let them all have a fun time.
Here is the story of what others are doing to carry out Kevins passion for fishing.
