went out tonight for a few hours. 4 12" saugers, a 2-3lb shad(snagged), and about a 4-5lb drum...

water seemed higher and i caught them on a crawdad colored shallow diving crank bait...

the drum actually ate it...

been tearin the drum up here on a shallow shad rap an 2oo series bandit in gold splatter back.lots of fun.....glad ta see somebody got some sauger,couldnt locate any myself today

i forgot a stringer and didn't have a bucket in the car or else i'd of kept them...

i'm thinking about going out sometime the next few weeks and throwing jigs tipped with corn to have some carp fun but we'll see...

i'll probabbly also try my hand at the slough..

try shredded wheat an garlic powder,keep a gallon freezer bag of it in the boat....decide ta use it just dip out a lil water an mix it up right in the bag

went out again last night. was only there for an hour....snagged a few with my crank that got off....hooked what seemed to be a 2-3lb walleyey that shook me off and then i hooked something big but it got off, i'm assuming i snagged it...

there were a father and sun that pulled out a stringer of about 30-40 shad and drum....yuck

what kind a crank ya usin? been switchin the rear trebles on lots of mine to rotatin trebles.lose lots less fish,specially in the river.

berkely frenzy's and bomber flat a's....picked both brands up in slc cabela's for a buck a piece..

Tried Steele Damn on Sat. morning and it was a train wreck. There was 12 people trying to fish off that one wall. People were crossing lines and it was not much fun. Not to mention we didn't catch anything worth reporting on.
