My Largest Fish Ever

here is a pic of a 4 1/2 foot alligarot gar i caught last nite at miss betty house on a 6 1/2 ft catfish pole with shad talk about fun!!!!! She was all of 9 in or more around

As most of you are aware I was in Spain recently and caught several Wels Catfish that would have broken my personal best weight with the biggest being 104 Lbs. which I caught the last day of fishing.

Although my companions all caught bigger cats up to 180 some lbs. they couldn't be any more happier or proud than I was with my personal best.

I also caught my personal best Carp over 20 lbs. on this trip while fishing with world class guide and writer Ron Buss from www.carpandcatbussters who came from his home in England to fish and assist us on our trip.

There will be more on fishing with Ron along with some of his methods and care of his catches, so stay tuned. Schoe

Congratulations ! I've seen some of those caught in the Kanawha river here, I've never caught one though. Glad you were able to land this one.

have caught 3+ lfoot on trot line but best by far on pole before was 24in
