I was just thinking about something that happened quite a few years ago,
Me,My dad & my friend Ken (same one from the lizard story) went saltwater fishing in a boat I use to have, we were out at the gandy bridge area, my dad hangs into a fish and finally gets it up, ole saltwater cat, he gets it into the boat and it Pukes on him LOL, needless to say, he was Not happy and let loose a string of curse words that would have made a sailor proud and he beat that fish on the side of the boat then dropped it into the bay! lol Me & Ken still talk about that day and it was about 19 or 20 years back, my dad passed away 18 years ago and of course, I still miss him alot, but I know he's up there with his old friends fishing and probably laughing at some of the things we have done over the years. :)
Ya'll take care

Great story Alan. One of the best things about fishing is making memories at the same time....Ray

Great story Alan,
My Dad and I spent over 50 years together fishing. When he passed on in 1999 I inherited all his fishing equipment. I make it a point to always carry some on each outing that I go fishing, so I still have the feeling that he is there with me. Those memories are imbedded in my heart and mind, and I know that everyone had that flash when they read your post.
Thank you for sharing.
