Havent seen a link here unless I missed it, so heres one on different types of knots to tie. I got big thumbs so I practice a lot :evilgrin0031:

These are all animated and you can click the slow button so you can see how its done. Dont be fooled by the name, click on it. There to the left you will see other types of knots to try or not. LOL

use the palomar knot myself also use another one that i dont know what it called but looks like the knot on SNELL hooks when done it done correctly

Yes very informative link. Now i need a link to them grimlins that build pole barns. LOL so's i can go try out them knots.
