Well I guess this is the place to post this! While working last Sunday night I went on a break at 4:22 A.M. and it was snowing. No lie. It only lasted about 6 mins. but it was snow. This is the first time I have ever heard of it snowing as far south as Bradenton.

I saw it in the Turkey Creek area back when I was in the 7th grade, guess that was back in the 70's, never heard of it getting that far south though.
welcome to the sunshine state :) lol

Does this mean you'll be able to go ice fishing there? :p
No joke though, they talk about global warming all the time, but how do they explain the snow?

No I don't think ice fishing is in order, yet. And you are 100% right someone has their story mixed up about this "Global Warming" hoo hah!

Well it's snowing and sleeting here now and you can have it - where is my share of global warming?

Did you all hear about how after the terrorist attacks the lack of jet streams in the air warmed the atmosphere by 2 degrees? I wasn't shocked. We put too much junk in the atmosphere as it is. So snow in FL? Nope doesn't surprise me.

Yeh I agree, there are way too many things fly'n over my house. I sure don't see the problem with some of those airline going away.

Well it was too nice up here for the ice fishing - only got out once!
Wonder how others did in this unseasonal weather this year?
