means yer right handed huh....yer left hand wants ta pinch the 2 top rings ....then reach down with yer right an bring up the bottom of the net to yer left hand to hold it too....hold yer left hand bout chest high fer a 4 ft net, gather a section of the bottom with yer right.....make a quarter turn with yer body towards the way ya want to throw holdin yer left had steady, when ya feel the net tryin ta pull away a lil from ya let go with yer right....make a trip to one of the git togethers an i can show ya easier than tellin lol....

When you get good at throwin' a net and want a good one, look into Calusa nets. They have a cracker series that is very popular around my area and is made real well.

I know they sell for about $140 for a 10 footer, but they are top shelf. I think Calusa has a web site.

Betts ! 6 footer and Betts 3 footer. Wal-Mart 19 bucks... Six foot for river shad and 3 foot for creeks and ditches..... Roll rope into loops in right hand ...fold top third of net down ...hold net in right hand with rope.........bring weight cord ...(cord with lead weights on it) up and hold in teeth (or in my case ...LIPS).... Reach out about two foot from teeth or lips.. grab weight ring in left hand and throw whole thing like frizbie (frezbie) whatever.....Using whole body. Simple.... Have seen guys just fold their net about three times and flick it... opens everytime..... I have noticed everybody has their own way of doing it.....You'll just have to find yours.:confused0024:

Nope no $120 nets for this boy. Pretty bad when the wal mart here has to stock them in the winter. Done went thru 6 of em since last fall. Bad thing is I haven't been using one hardly all summer.
