Don't know what you are missing!!!

For those of you who don't like White Bass *(friend of mine in Kentucky said that they consider them a nusience)* you all really don't know what you are missing out ont. My brother-in-law, nephew, my son, and myself went down below one of the local dams that they are still letting floodwaters out of. Watching the boys catch white bass, or in Oklahoma we call them sandies was a blast!!!!!

We caught a ton of them the past two days, then filletted them and cooked them up. Man they were great!

No, we were too busy catching to even think about taking pictures. I plan on going this coming weekend and if they are still hitting, I'll try and get some pics then.

My great-uncle and his wife were just Walleye fishing up in North Dakota last week and got into the white bass by the hundreds!!! He said they had one day they caught over 75 apeice!! Now that sounds like fun!!! We catch a few hybrid stripers up here bu lock and dam 13 on the Mississippi every year but, we only made it out on the the river twice this year and never caught one....I talked to a few of my buddies last week and none of them caught any up there either?!??!:confused0024: Lots of little bass but no stripers....

Well, honestly i really don't know how big they get??!?!?:confused0024: All i know is my biggest is 17 inches....they are really wide though...

P.S.--Anybody know where i can find like a table that shows if, i know the length of my fish how much it would normally wiegh??? Sorry kind of a confusing question...Thanks for the help!!!:party0011:

ya need ta be more specific on what species,the equations are a lil different for different fish cause of body shape
