Anyone remember any costume they may have worn?
Remember how you could walk several blocks and everyone knew who you were?
Remember when you could eat the candy right out of the bag and not have to get it xrayed?
Remember when the candy bars were gigantic?
Remember making popcorn balls?
Remember ringing your own doorbell when you got home and insisted they HAD to give you candy? LOL
Remember coming home and you ate and ate till you barfed? ROFL!!!! Oh man, those were the days!!!! :party0011:

I'm only six years older Ho_shi, but I can remember getting homemade items when we went out, and thought nothing of it. Now, if you attempt to wrap a rice crispy treat in a sandwich bag, they will call the cops on you.

Remember a costume?! Hell I dressed up last year! lol! I have an awesome grim reaper costume complete with oversized skeletal hands. I sit motionless in an awkward position in a chair on the porch with the bowl of candy between my feet. My wife tells the kids to go ahead and just grab a couple pieces from the bowl. When they go to reach for it I yell out "THAT'S MY CANDY!!!!" and snatch the bowl up. Scares the crap outa them.

From my childhood I remember dumping the bag of candy out for "inspection" by my parents. Now that I'm older and have a child of my own I realize "inspection" means going through the candy looking for anything bad-and helping yourself to a few items for yourself. lol.

in my younger teenage years i was one those jacka$$e$ that would go bag snatching (on kids of my own age). but i also remember filling up a pillow case full of my own candy and nowadays you can't even take your own kids out and fill up one of them dang plastic pumpkin.....but upon inspection the first thing they lose outta the pile are the reeses peanut butter cuips...lol
