I'm a newbie here too. I enjoy fishing, or most parts of it! I really can't wait until Spring to get back to the lake. But for now, we're enjoying some fish from the freezer. =)

Welcome to the site! It's good to see new members posting. What state are you from? It sounds like your stuck up north also. It is in the lower teens here so fishing is out at least for today. Schoe (owner of site) is down in Florida fishing a tournament today. He should be along in a day or two to welcome you.

Thanks Catbird and big country! I'm in TN. Not really "up north" but you couldn't tell with the weather we've been having. This past week it's been sleet, snow and ice gallore. We've been contemplating just when the weather will warm up so we can plan our next trip.

Thanks guys. I'm afraid not much on the fishing front. With all the wild weather we've been having I keep wondering if a pond will freeze over and I can try ice fishing....LOL!
