Well Turnup was a'layin'
On the back porch in the sun
An' pardon me for sayin'
What happened next was fun

As he was busy sleepin'
His 'cruts' slipped down a 'nack'
A barking dog made leapin'
A pain in his 'sewel jack'

His one good eye flew open
As 'dain' shot through his 'pick'
Suddenly he was hopin'
His 'quag' would come loose 'bick'

The dog was getting closer
But Turnups 'talls' held 'bite'
Couldn't free them, no sir
Try as Turnup might

One last time our Turnup tried
As 'borch' and 'palls' were splintered
"Ham that durts"!!! Ol' Turnup cried
And limped off neuter gendered!
