Took the girls out for a little gill fishing at the local lake. We couldn't seem to locate the bigger ones that had been hanging out in this hole previously. But we did have a fun evening catching a few decent ones and alot of smaller ones. We did manage to catch some nice sized rock bass also. We kept a few of the bigger ones for photos. All in all it was a nice enjoyable time.

Looks like the makings of a fine meal Jason, and a lot of fun catching.

Thanks for the post. Schoe

It is starting to sound like at the 2008 Kentucky Lake Spring Gathering that we may not just be fishing for catfish and bait...lol I think Giller has ruined my fishing partner. Just wait till he gets hooked on the crappie...lol

Way to go Jason.!!!:party0045: Been having a tough time finding the larger gills on the local canal also. I'll bet those girls had a ball catching those gills.
Catbird, Jason isn't ruined, he's just more experianced now. lol :icon_cool: Mike

Kinda hard to get the motivation up to use them for bait when its 45 deg at night. Gonna have to break the dang ole coveralls out for the fall flatheads.

Don't worry Giller, Catbird is working on ruining his fishing partner his self. Just take a look at what he had me out doing over the weekend. :confused0068:

I may need therapy after this weekend. Heck just this mornin' I was sitting in the corner with my fishin' rods rocking back and forth muttering "I am a catfisherman, I am a catfisherman".
