heres my main cat rigs....the short one just consists of a hook an sliding sinker. i use the lindy walkin sinker because it helps the rig git outta timber lots better.its excellent fer HEAVY cover, actually flip with it like ya would bass fishing at times, specially the spawn.bait it with a good chunk of cutbait an put it right in laydown trees.ifn theres weeds concentrate on the spot where weeds an wood meet.inside or outside edge.the closer deep water is the better though.
the second one is my drift/river rig......key to this one is a LARGE size 1 snap, snap swivels tangle too much....snap goes on then yer swivel.snap is used to put the sinker on so it still slides freely but allows me ta change wieght quickly an easily. ive used it with every wieght from 1/4 to 8 oz.after the swivel its just a regular leader an hook
