took a break

Well I took a break from polebarn sat afternoon, went out to bro-in-laws pond to see how big his ish are getting. The nephew had been out fishing for a good 6 hours catching bass, The bass are running in the 2# range, and i seen some smaller ones in there so they have reproduced atleast twice. Gills gallor nun of any size though. The cats they get feed real good but very picky at what they are eating, I tried to use a small gill on a cat bobber, but they just nibbled at it, so i hadda use the ole stand by "CHEESE BAIT" and that even took a long time before they would hit it. did end up catching a few they are running 3# and have fat in there bellies.

well at least you got out.....that "Cheese Bait" did me good on the rock in rockford sunday. all my fish on the stink stuff.

well i got over my lazy I diss and finally got the roof on the pole barn, next step is gettin garage door installed and trim put on it. i'll see about gettin up some pics when all dun.

LOL yep no snow yet but the temps are a changin quickly. i gotta get the trim work dun and doors put up and then i'm all set for deer huntin. this year i'm keepin the timber to myself, my lovely wife and 1 friend that missed his deer last year.

After i got all the fellas togather, excludin brewcat it only took about 4 hours to get the tin up and that included a lunch break.
