crappie an cats this weekend

took my oldest son (gofish jr)out an started teachin him how ta use a long rod an fish vertical fer crappie sat.....took him a while ta catch on but he finally did.....ended up with 48 keepers an round 50 or 60 more right at or under the 9 inch limit.......buddy of mine was out too an they got theyre limit too.....all came on jigs,no live bait....heres a pic of what was left after i gave the nieghbor a few...................sun. we hit the river....on the water by 6 an off at dark so no pics but ended up with one 9 lb blue ,a 5 lb flat,11 channels up ta 5lbs an 1white,1 hybrid.....caught a few smallies an another big buffaloe too on a crankbait again......sauger an walleye oughtta be goin soon.water temps 61 now

I might get some in on sunday. Fall indland catachable trout starts saturday maybe hit the pond by the house where they stock em, good crappie there too. We'll see how the hangover is open bar at the weddin i imagine i'll have a few and then maybe a few more and then maybe......

Allways a big debate this time of year just realized Duck huntin opens Sat also... why do I hav that stuiped weddin. People should only get married during the week so I could take a day off work... oh wait that won't work either 'cause ifn i take a day off I'll want to go fishin or huntin

just send the video and maybe i'll watch it and I'll send a card if i go by the post office on my way huntin or fishin :icon_razz:

I like this guy for some reason......Must be the way he thinks about huntin' and fishin'.
