fished the rock near dixon/GrandDetour, IL on sunday, was a great day to be out but wind soon picked up. a buddy and myself fished from about 7am till 1pm, all in all cought about 20 channels, mostly on cheese, those were runnin in about 1-2 lb range, few bigger ones on shrimp were 3-4 lbs. was a great day to be out and could be the last nice one for a while
water temps in upper 50's fishing in 3-8ft water.

yep accordin to soupy thems tadpoles. lol them there's eaters in my book. but i dunno know what a catfish looks like anymo i been Baitfishing lately 2- 3 lb bass are very tastey

you know I just bought a net a couple weeks back and started learnin to throw, gettin better but only a handfull of shad and there small

I got a feller down here that's got a sayin': "Anything too big for the skillet is too big to take home"...
I reckon , as long as you're catchin' it's a good day. Lately,I've seen plenty of days ,ifin' I caught some tadpoles I'd be tickled !
20 cats that size down here is called.... "A Fish Fry" ! Call the boys and get the beer !

use them lil shad.hook em thru the eyes an double the hook back thru the body.....theyll work jus fine
