Suprise!!!!!

went runnin the river today....was doin real well,catchin a bunch of big whites,some smallmouth an largemouth.....made a cast with the jig ta this lil eddy...jig hits the water an im hungup right away,cept when i pull the SNAG takes off real slow cross the river...bout now im thinkin i dun hooked a log cause it aint tuggin ,head shakin or nuttin so i keep up the steady pressure.all of a sudden the "snag " decides its a fish lol......bout 15 minutes later i got er in....jus over 42lbs..:icon_biggrin:........i got a good un soupy.....wheres yourn?

I went "CATFISHING" today...and Moma Soupy said she wanted some fiddlers so, I broke " Ye ole Stink Bait" ... Found me a little "honey hole" outta the wind..
14 CATFISH ! Biggest one was twelve (12lbs) pounds.... Blue CATFISH (that I went fishin' for) and the rest were "WillowCATS" that I went fishin' for.
Even had a neighbor to stop by and watch me clean 'em.

Even though it was "PURE LUCK" gofish... Nice catch.

Just in case you wanted to know : It was Sonny's Stink Bait with Blood....Works Great on all type of catfish (when you're lookin' for catfish and "not" Bass fishin')

thanks guys...shore was a lotta fun on spinnin gear lol.........now as fer you my big buddy soupy....nowheres did i say i "snagged " it.....blame thing swallered my jig......an after catchin that one i didnt even have ta bother gittin out my cat rods.....spent the rest of the day chunkin an windin lol:icon_razz::icon_biggrin:....i know i oughtta take er easy on ya seein as how ya had ta resort ta "stink bait" ta catch yer blues lmao:icon_biggrin:

My biggest (28) took a jig on walleye spinning rig and it was "interesting"
catching 42 lber on that rig is some great fishing

LOL know it took me bout day an half to get over the "buzz" from the adrenalin

Great fish joe. i didn't get to go out this last weekend 2 things stopped me, my fishin pardner was outta town for the weekend and my battery is dead in my boat. bummer, but i did manage to get some trim on the pole barn, almost can call it a buildin. Ole soupy's a lil envious of ya taken a cat with a sassy shad.

That map I sent you is just part of a twenty mile stretch of river.... I didn't want to show you everything at once... I know your little brain couldn't comprehend the whole picture all at once.
"Big C", I'm not being hard on him... It looks like gofish is trying to rub that fish in my face.....Teasing me about using my stink bait and all....It's hard for me to see a difference here.... Gofish catchin' "Big'uns" on plastic bugs or me catchin' (what big 'uns I do catch) on stink bait... Sounds to me like we both are getting "desperate".

Nice fish Joe. I wish I could have hit a "log" like that Thursday. All I caught were a couple of 10 inch Crappie, and their little brothers.
