What in the world is a WALLY DOOBER well it is a little trick that will slay the white bass (sand bass).
AS we all have seen when fishing for white bass if catch one others will follow. So I have come up with the help of one of my fishing buddies the best tool to catch schooling white bass.
1st take a large foam bobber..
2nd a 8 inch piece of wire ..
3rd one bullet sinker large..
Take the wire and and make a loop at one end, then place the wire thru the middle of the bobber. Next place the bullet sinker on the wire and twist a second loop.
Now that there was the wally and now its time for the doober, Take about 5' of 20# line and tie to the end of the wally that has the bullet sinker. Next tie a buck tail jig at every foot down the line (that means 5 buck tail jigs). That will complete the Wally Doober.
This is a fill the cooler full lure it is also easy to use.
The sinker on the bobber will help you cast it out. The five jigs can = 5 fish if the stars are inline (if you catch 5 put your boat on the trailer and go play the lottery). Cast the Wally Dobber out in the school and flip the bail let the first fish drag the other jigs around the schooling fish, this will start the feeding frenzy that will make you have to buy more ice for your other cooler's.. Stop fishing when your arm hurts or you don't want to clean any more fish..
