Well, it's that time of year down here in Florida. Any time we get a little cold snap where the temp drops into the upper 40's....low 50's (at night) the Specks (Black Crappie) start turning on at Turkey Creek. Me and BIG COUNTRY and Crabcake went last Saturday night and caught some nice ones off the bridge at Turkey Creek. We lowered our lanterns down close to the water and it wasn't long before the schools of Threadfin Shad showed up....with the Specks close behind. BIG COUNTRY called me yesterday and wanted to go last night but I'm working this weekend. If you read this BIG, let us know how you done....Ray

We've had some pretty cool weather up here in ILL. the last couple weeks and I've talked to several people that have tool some nice Crappie out of the Mississippi. The Walleyes and Saugers have also started in the river.
I hope to get out this week for either one.
Good luck down in Fla. and keep us posted. Schoe
