That one looks something like a shappell, but SHORT. I use a suitcase style called the Shappell s3000. I would be more comfortable with the ebay one if they had put a picture of it tore down. Google research??
I have an old Shappell 3000 that the zippers finally gave out on because the plastic tarp shrunk after many years. I still have it if you can figure a door closure system. I was going to order a new cloth cover for it at a buck or two over $100 but gave $75.00 for it years ago and just bought a new one. If you want that ole Shappell 3000 it's yours. I and my son were looking it over and the cover is stapled on at the base. We drove a staple through it easy enough with a heavy duty hand stapler so no problem there. The new covers are cloth. For running and gunning I like CrappieKeith's. Enough rambling. lol Mike

Shapell's are nice to fish out of,but they pull hard.

Till I encountered a couple inches of wet snow on slick ice, I might have dissagreed with you about pulling hard. The snow tended to pile up in fron of the Shappell and then was like pulling a heavy anchor. lol
I added the ski package and boy do they pull slick then. :party0011:
I never had my s3000 get away from me on slick ice and high wind, but have heard of some real horror stories.:confused0068:They can attain some pretty high speeds under the right conditions.l:confused0056::confused0056:ol In real cold temps. I do like the way they seal up. Mike

Jason, they are on the Shappell home site. They are also available at Bass Pro site. Put [ Shappell] in the search box. BPS is a buck or two cheaper, but didn't check the shipping difference. They are very much worth the price. I heard that Paul's has had themin the past, but not all the time. Mike

That buick is one you drag out on the ice and use till spring and then
when it starts to thaw let it sink and make great cover for later :confused0024: Kirk

Did you find the Ice Shanty u were looking for yet??? I've got a Frabill Venbture that's three years old and I love it. It's the suitcase style and if the price was right I'd get rid of it to upgrade to a sled-style. So I may be intersted in selling it soon after I check the local SALES out at Gander and Dicks. I am selling my PAK SHAK 1 Person that's a year old for 50.00 if anyone is interested. Bought it thinking it'd be easy to lug around and great for the solo days but that thing is too small, and really gets to rockin' on a windy day. Rather drag the Frabill around on those days and have the mansion to relax in!!!
